Highlighting Problem Statement
The barcode stickers had different locations on the different types of the parts & the orientation of the marking on the part was not fixed and could fall down to any degree from 0-360 degree.
Objective Set by Customer
To overcome the errors and address the concerns such as record all data for each component in CNG tank pressure valve, and also verify the Marking on the part with reference to the barcode sticker to avoid mix-up.
Challenges & Solutions
Challenge Set 1 :
The barcode stickers had different locations on the different types of the parts.
Solution Set 1 :
OptoPixel used three fixed mount scanners, so that a relative scanner scanned the label as per the type of the part selected from the software.
Challenge Set 2 :
The orientation of the Marking on the Part was not fixed and could come at any degree from 0-360 degree.
Solution Set 2 :
Our software has an inbuilt tool named “Positioner” that relocates all ROI’s in the display as per the Orientation.
